Description
Restored and expanded in 1992, the house integrates conservative interventions with new spatial devices. Hidden frescoes and decorations were revealed, original masonry preserved, and a spiral steel staircase within masonry cylinders introduced to create permeability between floors. A triple-height tower space, marked by transparency and light partitions, connects all rooms. Glass elements define new relations between historic structures and contemporary life.
