2026, 7 May - 7 June, Hamburg - Massimo Carmassi at the “ESSENTIAL” exhibition

7 May - 7 June 2026, Hamburg, HafenCity Universität Hamburg, ground-floor and first-floor foyers, collective exhibition “ESSENTIAL”, held within the 11th Hamburg Architecture Summer and the celebrations marking the 150th anniversary of Heinrich Tessenow's birth. Promoted by HafenCity Universität Hamburg – Institute Paolo Fusi, the Heinrich Tessenow Institute and pmp Projekt Gesellschaft für Projektentwicklung und Generalplanung mbH, the exhibition presented works by Florian Nagler Architekten, recipient of the 2026 Heinrich Tessenow Medal, contributions by former medal recipients, and projects by students from Paolo Fusi's design studio. Massimo Carmassi, recipient of the Heinrich Tessenow Medal in 1993, participated with a selected project contribution on the theme of essentiality in architecture.
